Assistance with obtaining proper grades, class placements and graduation at
all levels of educational programs; getting fair treatment from educational
testing services; and assistance with preventing suspension and expulsion
from school and/or classes.
Special Education
Assistance to families at Individual Educational Programs (IEP) meetings,
mediation, fair hearings and in court to obtain for every student an appropriate
education which meets that student’s individual needs.
Regional Center Services
Assistance with eligibility-related proceedings as well as the delivery of
services for individuals and families.
Health Care
Assistance with issues such as Medi-Cal eligibility for long-term nursing
care and home health care for ventilator-dependent people.
Conservatorships
Advice, counsel and representation for individuals seeking conservatorships
as well as, when appropriate, representation for conservatees. Our office
provides assistance with general, limited, temporary and permanent conservatorships
when a family member is not able to act on his own behalf.
Estate Considerations
Assistance in understanding the relationship between government benefit programs
for the disabled and resources obtained through inheritances, as well as the
preparation of wills and trusts.
